JOB PURPOSE
Create, store, update and maintain CAD drawings for mill mechanical, structural, controls, and electrical equipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare drawings of mechanical, structural, controls, -and electrical equipment Revise drawings and markups appropriately to support mechanical and electrical maintenance Develop utility standards and mill CAD drafting standards Maintain and update electronic drawings and documents Compile and organize drawing blocks, parts and specific details Update and document equipment and building drawings Develop layouts, drawings and designs Ensure compliance with drafting and engineering standards
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Proficient with Autodesk Autocad and Dassault Solidworks CAD software, Analytical problem-solving abilities, Professional, effective oral and written communication and interpersonal skills, Ability to effectively multi-task and prioritize,
Preferred:
Industrial CAD experience, Pulp & Paper experience, and/or machine design experience.
