Temp To Full-Time Designer | Drafter Join a hands-on design team in Portland creating and improving aftermarket solutions for heavy equipment across multiple industries. In this role, you'll collaborate with engineers and trades to turn concepts into detailed, production-ready designs that make a real impact in the field.

 $26.50/hr.
SCHEDULE
 Full-time, Monday-Friday | 7:00am-3:30pm

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate closely with engineers and cross-functional teams to develop and support designs for heavy equipment aftermarket products. Create, update, and modify detailed technical drawings and bills of materials to support production and product improvements. Assist in the design and refinement of conversions for material handling, forestry, mining, excavating, and demolition equipment. Interpret and technical information from drawings, specifications, and engineering documentation to ensure accurate design outputs. Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high attention to detail and effectivemunication with engineers, fabricators, and technicians.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Associate's degree (AAS) in Drafting, CAD, or a related field, with some hands-on drafting or design experience preferred. Proficiency or working knowledge of 3D CAD software (e.g., Creo), with the ability to produce and interpret technical drawings. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Clearmunication andprehension skills, including the ability to understand technical information and collaborate with engineers, fabricators, and technicians.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This role requires the ability to climb on and off large off-road machinery and safely navigate a shop or yard environment. Candidates should befortable standing, walking, and occasionally lifting or handling materials while performing hands-on inspections and measurements.
