Direct Technical Solutions Inc. is currently seeking a CAD Designer on behalf of our client, a Pittsburgh area manufacturer. The ideal candidate will have expertise in CAD software and a strong understanding of technical drawings and schematics. Role and Responsibilities Prepare assembly and component drawings for sales orders, inquiries, or new product development using PTC Creo software Maintain configurations, generate bills of material, and load component and assembly data into ERP software Prepare production and submittal packages for internal and external use (2D/3D electronic files, special tagging and notations, preparing paper copies, etc.) Perform drawing revisions and modifications, including updating of the ERP system Work with assembly, manufacturing, and quality assurance departments to resolve issues Assist in training of new personnel on CAD functions and department procedures Job Requirements Qualifications and Education Requirements Two (2) + years of job experience in CAD design or product evaluation testing, Associate Degree or equivalent preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced environment working on multiple projects concurrently Preferred Skills 3D modelling experience (PTC Creo preferred) Microsoft Outlook, Office (Word, Excel, etc.) Technical Solutions Inc. provides a wide range of staffing services throughout Western Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia.
