2 Technical Solutions Inc. is currently seeking an Electrical Designer for our client in the Pittsburgh, PA area. Scope Works to specifications and written and verbal instructions in accordance with established design practice, codes, standards, and procedures to prepare electrical designs. Is responsible for the neatness and accuracy of own work. Responsibilities Develops electrical drawings for an area of the project in conformance with the project requirements with supervision. Prepares drawings including, plans, sections, single line and elementary diagrams and equipment schedules. Interprets drawings supplied by vendors, clients and other disciplines that affect the design. Participates in field investigation to obtain information to route and support piping and ductwork. Job Requirements Qualifications Two (2) to (5) years of drafting experience. AutoCAD 2D, AutoCAD PLant3D, Inventor, or other 3D platforms proficient. Ability to read and understand single line drawings and electrical block diagrams. Experience in an industrial or commercial environment. Able to conduct field investigations to verify conditions.
