Job Description

Company Description We are a custom metalworking company that specializes in creating luxury custom pieces for high-end residences and homebuilders, ranging from spiral staircases, railings, gates, doors, etc. Role Description This is an independent contract role for a CAD Designer. The CAD Designer will create and refine technical and construction drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software. Day-to-day tasks include producing accurate design schematics, collaborating with the engineering team, reviewing project requirements, and making revisions as necessary. This is a hybrid role based in Anderson, SC, with mostly work-from-home flexibility. You would be required to meet onsite for measurements, etc. Pay is dependent on experience. This is a flexible position, where you are only required to be on-site at certain times. However, the work must be completed in a timely manner!!! Qualifications Proficiency in Technical Drawing, Drawing, and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools Experience with Construction Drawings, Blueprints, Renderings, and Design Engineering processes Strong attention to detail and ability to produce precise and accurate designs Effective communication skills for team collaboration and project discussions Ability to manage deadlines in a hybrid work environment with self-motivation Knowledge of relevant building and safety codes is a plus Post-secondary education in Engineering, Drafting, or a related field is preferred
