Job Title AutoCAD Drafter Compensation $24.00 to $26.00 hourly Standard Workday and Hours Monday through Friday - 6am to 4pm Responsibilities Serve as an in-house AutoCAD (2D & 3D) drafter for ASME Vessels and API Tanks. Interpret Design Specifications - review engineering drawings, sketches, and notes to understand design intent, materials, and tolerances. Assist other drafters with design projects. Update & Revise Documents. Incorporate engineering change notices (ECNs) and field feedback into updated drawings, maintaining meticulous version control. Follow drafting and plan preparation standards. Develop Assembly & Sub-Assembly Drawings Produce technical drawings and plan sets. Perform day-to-day tasks with minimal supervision. Highly Proficient in Microsoft Excel. Ability to understand and create Bill of Materials (BOM). Qualifications 2 to 5 years of experience using AutoCAD/ AutoDesk Inventor. Familiarity with Oil and Gas Industry Equipment. Working knowledge of

ASME & API

Codes will be extremely helpful. Ability to work effectively as a team player. Attention to Detail - Precision in dimensioning and notation to prevent costly manufacturing errors. Capable of coordinating multiple projects simultaneously with other team members. Working knowledge of SolidWorks is valuable. Ability to work independently or collaboratively. Willingness to mentor other team members. Strong attention to detail. Education Minimum of High School Diploma Below are not Required but helpful: Associate's Degree in drafting technology, mechanical CAD, or mechanical engineering technology is the most common educational path. Certificate Programs in CAD or drafting are available for those with strong technical aptitudes. Autodesk Certified Professional (ACP) - for AutoCAD, Inventor, or Revit. SolidWorks Certified Associate (CSWA) or Professional (CSWP). Certified Drafter (CD) / Certified CAD Drafter (CCAD) from the American Design Drafting Association (ADDA).
