AutoCAD Drafter / SketchUp Modeler (1099 Contract) Mariia Bertolone Interiors Irvine, CA Job Details Part-time | Contract $25 - $30 an hour 1 hour ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications Teamwork 3D modeling software Interior design Construction document project phase Attention to detail Blueprint creation using CAD software Organizational skills Time management Full Job Description Mariia Bertolone Interiors is seeking a detail-oriented AutoCAD Drafter / SketchUp Modeler to support residential and commercial interior design projects on a project-by-project basis. This is a remote 1099 contractor position with flexible hours and the opportunity for ongoing collaboration on a variety of design projects throughout Southern California. Responsibilities Develop detailed AutoCAD drawing sets from sketches, markups, field measurements, and design direction Prepare floor plans, demolition plans, elevations, reflected ceiling plans, finish plans, millwork details, and interior design construction documents Create and maintain accurate 3D SketchUp models throughout the design process Revise drawings and models as design decisions evolve Coordinate with the designer, architects, contractors, and consultants as needed Maintain organized project files and drawing standards Ensure drawings are accurate, complete, and ready for client presentations, pricing, and construction Qualifications Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Strong SketchUp modeling skills Experience producing residential or commercial interior design drawing sets Understanding of construction documentation and detailing Ability to read architectural plans and work from field measurements Excellent organization, communication, and time management skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Preferred Qualifications Experience working with interior designers Knowledge of kitchen and bathroom design documentation Experience detailing custom cabinetry and millwork Familiarity with SketchUp Layout Experience with residential remodels and tenant improvement projects Compensation Project-based compensation, depending on experience and scope of work Project-based 1099 contractor position Hours vary based on project workload Opportunity for ongoing work Opportunity to grow with a boutique interior design studio and take on additional responsibilities over time To Apply Please submit to : Resume Portfolio including sample CAD drawing sets Sample SketchUp models and 3D renderings
