Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic CAD Designer to join our busy Design team in Mauston, Wisconsin or our satellite location in Madison, WI. Dec USA is a leading provider of containment and aseptic systems for the pharmaceutical, biotech, nuclear and chemical markets. This is a fantastic opportunity for a self-motivated individual to showcase their high-level skills when using CAD equipment to prepare routine layouts, detail drawings, assemble drawings, sketches and diagrams. Hybrid options are possible. Job Duties
- Creates 3D models, and drawings for product engineering designs.
- Provides feedback to engineers for design intent, fit and function of parts and assemblies
- Reviews standard Models and drawings before release for usability and coverage
- Creates content for Customer Parts Books
- Creates 3D manufacturing simulations for shop floor personnel
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned Requirements
- Associate Degree preferred, Computer Aided Design Technician, Mechanical Design Technology or related area of study
- 1-3 years related experience
- Training/Experience with drafting practices and ANSI standards
- AutoCAD Inventor experience preferred
- Understanding of 2D and 3D software
- Understanding of GD&T
- Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication
