Full Job Description Job Summary:
LINX is looking for a CAD Technician to develop and update technical drawings and as-builts using computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD and Bluebeam. As a member of the Engineering team, you will prepare project documentation that will include shop drawings, as-built drawings and other technical drawings as required. Applicants should have experience with CAD software. As a CAD Technician, you will be responsible for producing accurate and detailed computer-aided design (CAD) drawings related to low voltage electrical systems as directed by the Engineering team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Create and revise 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam) Interpret sketches, specifications, and design instructions to produce accurate drawings Maintain organized drawing files and documentation Assist with design changes and updates based on feedback Ensure drawings comply with company standards and industry regulations Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines Perform basic calculations and measurements as needed Minimum Requirements Associate degree, technical certificate, or coursework in CAD, Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience) Basic proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD preferred; others a plus) Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to read and understand technical drawings Good communication and teamwork skills Willingness to learn and take direction Preferred Experience Internship or hands-on CAD experience Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., ASME, ISO) Experience with 3D modeling or BIM tools
Pay Rate:
$24.00 - $29.00 / hour
