We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Architectural Designer / Drafter to join our collaborative team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with drafting and design experience who wants to grow within a fast-moving residential environment focused on projects including: Custom Homes Remodels Additions ADUs / Casitas You will work closely with ownership, drafters, project coordinators, and consultants to help bring projects from concept through permit-ready plans. We are looking for someone who is: Creative but practical Organized and detail-oriented A strong communicator Able to work well within a team Eager to learn and grow Responsibilities Assist with residential floorplans, layouts, and design development Prepare construction documents and drafting revisions Create 3D models and visual presentations Coordinate updates with drafters and project coordinators Help maintain organized project files and workflows Review plans for consistency and missing information Assist with consultant coordination and revisions Support the team throughout design and permitting phases Qualifications Experience with residential drafting and design Basic understanding of residential construction methods Good space planning and layout skills Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar software Ability to create 3D models/renderings is a plus Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-moving environment Willingness to learn and adapt Preferred but Not Required Experience with permit sets Familiarity with city submittals Knowledge of Arizona residential construction Familiarity referencing IRC codes Experience with Notion or project management software AI-assisted rendering or drafting experience Bilingual in English and Spanish highly preferred What We Value Most We care more about: Attitude Reliability Communication Problem-solving Attention to detail Willingness to grow than years of experience.
