sells and installs it's In-Dapt modular OR ceiling system and equipment supports in hospitals across the US. The company is seeking a highly motivated, organized, and knowledgeable individual to create CAD drawings and to coordinate BIM with our healthcare construction partners. Responsibilities Use Revit for BIM to generate design drawings and to coordinate BIM models, as well as work closely with the contractor's BIM team Work under direction of engineers and Project Managers to develop construction document packages Manipulate/translate digital file formats in order to create usable CAD/Revit drawings (e.g. From Revit to AutoCAD, Navisworks, etc.) Work with external client document management systems (BIM 360, FTP, Procore, etc.) to transmit CAD drawings and Revit models, together with project deliverable uploads Assist in Revit development of standards Assist in clash detection of Revit models Attend virtual coordination meetings Create bill of materials and assist in material procurement, including creating and exporting Revit Schedules Assist in project coordination and scheduling Work withIN-DAPT 2.0 BIM/VDC
department manager Experience and Requirements Associates degree a plus AutoCAD and Revit for BIM Proficient AutoCAD Certified Professional Certificate Revit Certified Professional Certificate Understanding of basic drawing setup modeling technique and general knowledge of drafting standards Ability to quickly absorb and utilize company-specific techniques, standards and procedures Excellent planning and organization skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to meet deadlines Must be able to communicate effectively with staff and contractors Must be highly motivated, proactive, and willing to take on new challenges Must have good follow through and self-implemented Quality Control measures Experience in M/E/P and Architectural a plus Experience and proficiency in creating Revit Family content Knowledge of other pertinent software packages such as Navis Works, Revizto, BIM 360, BIM 360 Glue and Procore Knowledge and proficiency in Excel Limited travel required for site based coordination meetingsJob Type:
