CAD Designer/Drafter

Join a well-established, family-owned company as a CAD Designer/Drafter in Dallas, TX! This is an exciting opportunity to work with a hands-on team that specializes in commercial kitchen repair, remodels, and custom stainless-steel fabrication, where your designs will go directly from field measurements to the manufacturing floor in a highly collaborative shop-to-field environment. Qualifications and responsibilities for this CAD Designer/Drafter position include: 1+ year of SolidWorks experience in a manufacturing environment 1+ year of sheet metal fabrication or design experience Strong blueprint reading and manufacturing drawing experience Sheet metal-specific design experience is required Takeoff experience with Bluebeam or similar software is preferred Create SolidWorks sheet metal parts, assemblies, flat patterns, and detailed manufacturing drawings Measure projects in the field as needed and design custom commercial kitchen and stainless-steel fabrication solutions Work closely with the production/shop team to ensure accurate, efficient manufacturing execution

Salary:

$20 - $30 per hour, commensurate with experience.
