$75,000 - $90,000 per year Job Details - Our organization is seeking a skilled and experienced CAD Operator to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and modifying detailed drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) hardware and software from sketches, layouts, or notes provided by engineering. This position requires a high level of technical competence, precision, and creativity. The CAD Operator will work closely with our team of engineers to ensure that all blueprints and technical schematics meet the required standards and specifications.
Responsibilities:
1. Utilize AutoCAD to develop detailed designs and layouts. 2. Collaborate with engineers and other team members to understand project requirements and generate designs accordingly. 3. Modify and revise designs to correct operating deficiencies or to reduce production problems. 4. Prepare multiple versions of designs for review by engineers and architects. 5. Use the CAD system to provide support to engineers by preparing routine layouts, detailed drawings, and sketches. 6. Participate in the planning and execution of design projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements. 7. Maintain detailed and accurate records of all designs, modifications, and updates. 8. Assist in the troubleshooting and resolution of CAD-related issues. 9. Continually enhance technical skills and knowledge to stay at the forefront of CAD technology.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field. 2. Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CAD Operator in an engineering or related environment. 3. Proficient in AutoCAD, Rivet, and other relevant CAD software. 4. Strong understanding of engineering terminologies and principles. 5. Ability to work with engineers to interpret and implement complex design requirements. 6. Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work output. 7. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues. 8. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders. 9. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. 10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 11. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
