ENTRY LEVEL - CAD OPERATOR
(Drafter/Artist) Manufacturing company near Love Field is seeking an Entry Level CAD Operator for immediate hire.
Overview:
This role requires a balance of creativity, technical skill, and collaboration. The ideal candidate can work cross-functionally to deliver accurate, client-focused designs. They will work from inception of design and continue throughout the manufacturing process.
Requirements:
  • 1-3 years of CAD drafting experience
  • Proficiency in
AutoCAD Key Responsibilities:
  • Work independently with minimal supervision while meeting specifications
  • Develop basic engineering drawings in collaboration with clients
  • Create repeatable patterns and production drawings
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong attention to detail with ability to work quickly and accurately
  • Effective time management and ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn
Bonus Qualifications:
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Microsoft Office and CorelDRAW is not required but would be highly beneficial.
  • Experience in carpet or fabric manufacturing
  • Ability to perform large-scale tracing and drawing (hand-drawn marker work)
  • Operate safely on ladders/scaffolding in a warehouse environment
