Up to 15% Summary of Position The Pre-Fab Detailer is responsible for preparing documents, drawings, and other materials for the fabrication facility. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Draw and detail shop drawings for products. Create bill of materials for shipment and shop. Work with team to address problems & Issues in design. Assist the Prefab Manager in the production of prefabrication drawings an projects. Work with internal customers to assist them with the correct designs for their needs. Print and read architectural drawings to prepare shop drawings. Perform other duties as assigned. Education and/or Work Experience Requirements Computer Aided Design or Equivalent Technical Degree (preferred) Prior construction or manufacturing experience (preferred) Roll form Machine experience (preferred) 5 years of experience using Tekla Structures, Auto Desk Advance Steel or SDS2 (preferred) 2 years of AutoCad experience (required) Preferred Skills and Abilities Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook Attention to detail Strong knowledge and experience with computers. Ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints Excellent organizational skills Ability to communicate and report effectively Aptitude in math Problem-solving abilities
