About the role We are currently looking for ambitious and enthusiastic Project Designers to join our existing UK Project Design team based in Sheffield, UK The role is responsible for completing orders placed with the Project Design department to our customers satisfaction, while managing the available resources to achieve this. Main responsibilities In this role you'll: Progress customer orders from technical enquiries through to delivery and settlement of account Correspond with customers to request information, communicate problems or notify them of key events. Ensure all team communications with customers are commercially appropriate, clear and informative. Attend site meetings when required to acquire design and program information or resolve problems. Maintain the project file and quality documentation to a high standard Ensure all necessary calculations are carried out. Ensure all necessary drawings are produced and that our designs are illustrated to a good standard and issue designs and drawings for approval. Co-ordinate approvals and customers instructions to our manufacturing team. Prepare clear and accurate manufacturing drawings and schedules for order processing. Experience & qualifications To be successful in this role you'll need: An HNC or equivalent qualification in a building or construction related subject (Essential) A degree qualification in a building or construction related subject (Desirable) Previous experience of working in a construction related design office environment (Desirable) A working knowledge of Ancon products and how they are used within the construction industry (Desirable) Previous experience of working as an architectural or structural technician (Desirable) About the role We are currently looking for ambitious and enthusiastic Project Designers to join our existing UK Project Design team based in Sheffield, UK The role is responsible for completing orders placed with the Project Design department to our customers satisfaction, while managing the available resources to achieve this.
