The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in metal fabrication and is proficient in CAD software such as Fusion 360 , SolidWorks , or SketchUp . This role involves creating precise technical drawings, including ornamental designs, and working with imported data from laser and camera scans. Familiarity with scan integration workflows and equipment such as the Leica ICS50 is highly desirable. The right candidate can take field measurements, concepts, or architectural plans and turn them into accurate, production-ready shop drawings. Responsibilities Create detailed CAD/shop drawings for metal fabrication projects Draft ornamental and architectural metal designs (railings, stairs, etc.) Interpret field measurements and integrate scan data into drawings Work with laser/camera scan files to develop layouts Coordinate with shop team to ensure drawings are practical and buildable Revise drawings as needed based on project changes Requirements CAD experience required (metal fabrication or construction preferred) Proficiency in Fusion 360, SolidWorks, SketchUp, or similar Understanding of metal fabrication processes Ability to read architectural and structural plans Strong attention to detail and organization Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Experience with ornamental metal design Preferred (Not Required) Familiarity with scan integration workflows Experience using Leica ICS50 or similar measuring equipment Hands-on fabrication experience Benefits Competitive pay (based on experience) Opportunity for growth in a growing company Hands-on involvement in custom projects Supportive, team-oriented environment Schedule Monday-Friday [Typical hours, e.g., 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM] How to Apply Submit your resume and, if available, email examples of your CAD work or portfolio to .
