Ornamental Steel Detailer We're looking for a skilled Ornamental Steel Detailer to join our team and help bring custom metalwork projects to life. If you have experience creating detailed fabrication drawings and working with architectural and ornamental steel designs, we'd like to hear from you. Responsibilities Create accurate shop drawings and fabrication details for ornamental steel projects Interpret architectural and structural plans Coordinate with fabricators, installers, engineers, and project managers Ensure drawings comply with applicable building codes and project specifications Revise drawings based on field measurements and client feedback Prepare material takeoffs and assist with project documentation Qualifications Experience detailing ornamental or miscellaneous steel projects Proficiency in software such as: Fusion 360 SketchUp Other 3D modeling/detailing software a plus Understanding of building codes, fabrication methods, and installation practices Ability to read architectural and structural drawings Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and organizational skills Preferred Experience Railings, gates, stairs, balconies, decorative metalwork, or custom fabrication Knowledge of welding and fabrication processes Familiarity with field measuring and shop coordination What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Opportunity to work on custom high-end projects Supportive and collaborative work environment Growth opportunities within the company
