Job Description
Job Overview Create and maintain wiring harness drawings and documentation using AutoCAD Develop solid models, concepts, and layouts for powersport vehicle accessories Design around and modify customer-supplied CAD files Create dimensional drawings for domestic and foreign manufacturing Develop engineering part and assembly drawings in SolidWorks Assist in producing and testing prototypes for form, fit, and function Assist in creating Bills of Materials and installation instructions Update engineering drawings to reflect product changes and improvements Experience Requirements Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D, particularly for wiring harness and schematic drawings Working knowledge of SolidWorks and 3D modeling Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and electronic schematics Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Education Requirements
- 1-3 years of drafting or design experience (internship or co-op experience considered)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D, particularly for wiring harness and schematic drawings
- Working knowledge of SolidWorks; 3D modeling experience preferred
- Ability to interpret wiring diagrams and electronic schematics
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes (sheet metal, injection molding, etc.) is a plus
- Experience with 12V products or familiarity with SSV Works products is a plus
