About the Role You'll take ownership of detailing work from contract drawings through final field‑use documents, ensuring accuracy, constructability, and smooth coordination with project management, engineering, and customers. This role is designed as a development path into Detailing Manager , giving you exposure, mentorship, and leadership opportunities from day one. ️ What You'll Do Review and interpret structural drawings, specs, and change orders Prepare clear, accurate layout drawings for customer approval Generate precise BOMs and verify accuracy of drawings Issue final construction documents and support field teams during erection Coordinate with steel erection drawings for alignment and constructability Maintain organized digital job files for cross‑departmental access Collaborate with PMs to identify scope changes and develop RFIs Provide technical guidance, training, and customer support Use AutoCAD/Tekla (and Tekla Structures for BIM when needed) Uphold professionalism, communication, and company values What You Bring Associate degree in Drafting/CAD OR equivalent experience 1+ years of AutoCAD experience (Revit/Bluebeam a plus) Ability to read and interpret structural drawings Familiarity with steel designations strongly preferred Strong attention to detail and ability to "check" complex work Clear, professional communication with internal teams & customers Joist & decking experience is a big plus , but structural or complex misc steel is also great Compensation & Benefits Competitive Salary Performance‑based bonus Full health, dental, vision 401(k) with company match Career growth into Detailing Manager Supportive, friendly, outgoing team culture Why Join?
