Job Description

Overview Join our innovative team as a Design Technician and play a vital role in transforming concepts into detailed, precise designs that drive successful project outcomes. Duties Develop detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, or ArchiCAD to support architectural, mechanical, or system design projects Create accurate models and visualizations with SketchUp, Rhino 3D (Rhinoceros), Grasshopper 3D, or 3ds Max to communicate design intent effectively Assist in drafting schematics, system layouts, and construction documents ensuring clarity and precision for construction teams Collaborate with designers and engineers to refine designs, incorporating feedback and ensuring compliance with project standards Utilize Bluebeam for markup review and document management to streamline project workflows Support graphic design tasks including presentations, 2D animations, and interior design visuals to enhance client communication Contribute to system design processes by preparing detailed drawings for mechanical systems or interior layouts Requirements Proven experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, or ArchiCAD; familiarity with SolidWorks is a plus Strong skills in SketchUp, Rhino 3D (Rhinoceros), Grasshopper 3D, and 3ds Max for modeling and visualization purposes Knowledge of construction processes and drafting standards to produce accurate technical drawings Ability to interpret schematics and technical specifications for various design disciplines Experience in graphic design or 2D animation is advantageous for creating compelling visual presentations Background in interior design or mechanical design enhances versatility within the role Excellent attention to detail combined with strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams This vibrant role offers a chance to develop your technical expertise while contributing creatively to impactful projects.
