Job Description

Description:
The Probst Group was officially formed in 2008, but team members have been providing true, customized solutions that are focused on the individual needs of every client for 30+ years. We are proud to offer unparalleled experience in industrial wastewater engineering and operations. The Drafter is a member of a team dedicated to creating technical drawings and designs used for various structures and systems, with a specialization in the industrial food and beverage wastewater sector. Using AutoCAD and other software programs, the Drafter will develop a wide range of designs to meet the specific requirements of the clients' projects. Key Responsibilities for the
Drafter:
Create engineering layout drawings and sections/details based on guidance from Project Managers or Designers Create project process flow drawings based on guidance from Project Managers or Designers Assist in reviewing equipment cutsheets and submittals Create construction revisions and as-built drawings based on guidance from Project Managers or Designers Work closely with the engineering team to serve a wide variety of customers in the industrial wastewater sector Support multiple projects with varying deliverable priorities and deadlines Support the training and development of other Probst employees Participate in and support the improvement of current drafting processes Navigate 3D models and perform basic modifications (viewing, measuring, and making simple edits/updates) as needed Other duties as assigned
Travel Expectations:
Travel is not anticipated, but may be required periodically
Requirements:
Work in a state-of-the-art, open-concept, collaborative environment located in Hartland, WI High school diploma or GED 3+ years of recent experience using AutoCAD Proficient experience with Microsoft Office Suite Ability to adapt to changing work priorities and manage competing demands High attention to detail Excellent communication and critical thinking skills Ability to meet deadlines Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred:
Previous recent experience using AutoDesk Plant 3D Previous experience designing or working in wastewater facilities PI285200209
