Overview We are seeking a motivated AutoCAD / Vectorworks Drawing Associate (Engineering Assistant) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a vital part in creating precise technical drawings and schematics that support our project execution. Your expertise will help ensure seamless communication between design and construction teams, contributing to the successful delivery of complex projects. Duties Develop detailed 2D drawings and schematics using AutoCAD and Vectorworks software for various engineering and architectural projects Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to interpret design concepts into accurate technical drawings Assist in creating system designs, interior layouts, mechanical components, and construction documentation Utilize additional design tools such as SketchUp, Rhino 3D (Rhinoceros), Grasshopper 3D, Revit, ArchiCAD, MicroStation, and SolidWorks as needed for specialized tasks Prepare drawings that meet industry standards and client specifications while ensuring clarity and precision Review and revise drawings based on feedback to maintain high-quality deliverables Support project teams during the construction phase by providing detailed CAD drawings and schematics Skills Proficiency in AutoCAD and Vectorworks for drafting and schematic creation Experience with SketchUp for conceptual modeling and visualization Familiarity with Bluebeam for PDF markup and document management Knowledge of 3D modeling software such as Rhino 3D (Rhinoceros), Grasshopper 3D, Revit, ArchiCAD, MicroStation, or SolidWorks is highly desirable Strong understanding of construction processes, system design, mechanical design, interior design, and graphic visualization techniques Ability to interpret technical schematics and translate them into accurate CAD drawings Excellent attention to detail combined with effective communication skills to collaborate across teams Join us in shaping innovative solutions through precise drafting and design!
