Designer Milwaukee, WI | Full-Time | 1st
Shift Compensation:
BIM/VDC Designer:
$40,000 - $75,000 BIM/VDC Coordinator (Senior Level): $70,000 - $140,000 We're looking for a BIM/VDC professional who enjoys turning design concepts into detailed, buildable models for mechanical construction projects. This role is ideal for someone who likes working closely with project teams, solving coordination challenges, and seeing their work move from the computer screen into the field. What You'll Be Doing Create and maintain detailed 3D BIM/Revit models for mechanical systems. Produce fabrication, spool, and installation drawings used by shop and field teams. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and trade partners to resolve clashes and design conflicts before construction begins. Review project plans, specifications, and drawings to ensure models are accurate and constructible. Support permit submissions, project documentation, and drawing management throughout the project lifecycle. Occasionally visit jobsites to verify dimensions, perform scans, or assist with coordination efforts. Most of your time will be spent in the office or working remotely. What You Need to Be Considered 3+ years of hands-on experience using Revit and/or BIM software in construction, mechanical contracting, MEP, fabrication, or a related industry. Ability to create detailed 3D models and construction/fabrication drawings. Experience with clash detection and coordinating with multiple trades. Strong understanding of construction drawings and project documentation. Valid driver's license. Comfortable visiting construction sites when needed.
