On-Site Tool Design/CAD Technician Great Lakes Custom Tool - Peshtigo, WI Overview Great Lakes Custom Tool designs and manufactures high-performance custom cutting tools for the woodworking and metalworking industries. We are currently seeking a Tool Design/CAD Technician to join our Engineering Department. This position involves the layout, design, and detailing of custom tooling and is well-suited for detail-oriented individuals who are passionate about precision, enjoy solving technical challenges, and want to see their designs come to life in a modern manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Design and develop cutting tools and tooling components using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD (2D/3D) Collaborate with key personnel to resolve design and production issues with manufacturing, brazing, and quality teams. Produce approval drawings for internal review and customer sign-off. Ensure all designs meet quality standards, tolerances and production requirements. Qualifications ERP System, Microsoft Word and Excel preferred. Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD (2D and 3D) or similar. Machining background helpful.
