Engineering Technician

Technical manufacturing professional responsible for converting customer designs into CAD drawings, bills of materials, cut lists, and CNC programs for production. Job Requirements CAD experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar software Ability to create detailed technical drawings for manufacturing Ability to build bills of materials and cut lists Experience creating CNC machine programs Ability to translate customer designs into buildable production instructions Ability to support machine operators with troubleshooting Ability to improve CNC programs for efficiency and material utilization Comfortable working between office and production floor environments Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally Preferred Skills Associate's degree or technical certification in drafting, engineering, technology, or related field Related field experience in manufacturing, drafting, or CNC programming Job Responsibilities Convert customer designs into clear instructions for the production team Create detailed CAD drawings for manufactured products Build bills of materials and cut lists with exact part and material requirements Create CNC machine programs for cutting and shaping materials Translate design concepts into accurate, manufacturable instructions Support machine operators in troubleshooting production issues Improve machine programs to reduce material waste and increase efficiency Work closely with sales, engineering, and production teams
