Mechanical Designer (CREO)•2 roles

Location :

Wauwatosa, WI•4 days onsite

Duration :

8 + Months contract (Temp-to-Perm)

Scope:

Client is seeking an experienced Senior Designer to support engineering efforts from concept through production. This role involves designing and integrating components and systems, with a focus on delivering high-quality, cost-effective solutions that meet performance and project targets. One role is focused on seat based / Windchill surface, and the other role is focused on body work side panel; saddle bags.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop component and system solutions from concept to production Collaborate with engineering teams and cross-functional stakeholders Create CAD models, large assemblies, and detailed drawings using Creo Develop and manage engineering change notices through PLM systems Produce technical documentation, including drawings, assembly instructions, and tolerance studies Apply advanced design practices to meet quality, cost, and timing objectives

Requirements:

Associate's degree in mechanical design or related field preferred Minimum of 5 years of relevant design experience Proficiency in CAD and PLM systems•CREO required Strong understanding of GD&T and engineering drawing standards Solid communication and collaboration skills Experience with manufacturing processes such as injection molding, casting, forming, forging, and finishing is a plus

Pay:

$40.00•$50.00 per hour
