Process Engineer - 2nd Shift - Injection

Responsibilities Develop, implement, and optimize injection molding processes to enhance product quality and production throughput. Conduct root cause analysis for process deviations or defects, implementing corrective actions swiftly and effectively. Utilize CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Creo to design tooling, fixtures, and process layouts that improve manufacturing efficiency. Program and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs), robotics, CNC machines, and vision inspection systems to automate and refine production lines. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project scheduling, process improvements, and lean manufacturing initiatives to reduce waste and increase productivity. Create detailed schematics and technical documentation for industrial equipment, tooling, and fabrication processes following

ISO 9001

standards. Lead continuous improvement projects by analyzing factory data, optimizing process parameters, and implementing innovative solutions aligned with industry best practices. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field; advanced certifications are a plus. Proven experience in plastics injection molding within a manufacturing facility or industrial environment. Strong mechanical knowledge of industrial equipment including CNC machines, robotics, welding tools, and fabrication systems. Proficiency with CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo; experience with CAM programming is highly desirable. Hands-on experience with PLC programming, robot programming, vision inspection systems, CNC programming, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), Schematics design, and industrial schematics interpretation. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles, continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma), and factory safety standards. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis efficiently under pressure.
