• Work on a broad range of projects, in both a laboratory and manufacturing environment, that will challenge you to learn and grow in your career. Working side by side with designers, test and manufacturing engineering, you'll use your education, experience and growing expertise to develop and evaluate new and advanced technology to survive in the most hostile of environments.
• Select Parts, Materials, and Processes (PMP) on new designs that will help defend our country, get hands-on manufacturing experience of the next satellite, or provide oversight to an extensive supply chain providing products critical to Mission Success
• Perform Materials and Processes (M&P) technical engineering assignments
• Solve problems and find creative solutions
• Participate in the selection, qualification, testing, and failure analysis of materials & processes, prepare technical and progress reports on work you're doing, prepare specifications, evaluate suppliers and analyze test reports
• Coordinate with other fields such as Design Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Engineering, and Procurement This position requires the eligibility to obtain a Top Secret security clearance.

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Physics, Material Sciences, Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience conducting problem investigations, failure analysis, and manufacturing operations

National Pay Statement Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $70,100

• $123,625.
