Job Description

Arclin, Inc. is seeking a Capital Project Engineering Intern to support its Corporate Engineering Group. This internship will report to the Capital Project Engineering Manager and will be part of a distributed corporate engineering organization that supports manufacturing assets across Arclin's businesses. The intern will primarily assist with the development and maintenance of engineering operating systems, corporate drawing and document management systems, and the controlled migration of legacy documentation supporting Arclin's Resin and Surfaces businesses. This role provides hands-on exposure to capital project engineering practices in a global materials science company. Key Responsibilities Create, review, and revise Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) Develop and update standard operating procedures related to Capital Project Engineering systems Collaborate with cross-functional teams to migrate legacy engineering documentation into controlled, centralized repositories Support enhancements and updates to the corporate drawing management system Maintain and update a cloud-based capital expenditure (CapEx) management system Assist with general engineering documentation and continuous improvement initiatives as needed Qualifications Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering General familiarity with industrial plant operations, processes, and equipment Experience with AutoCAD; familiarity with Autodesk Vault is a plus Exposure to or coursework involving P&IDs Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Willingness and ability to travel occasionally (up to approximately 10 % ) and work in industrial settings with exposure to chemical and mechanical processes Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
