Job Description
Summary:
The Process Engineer will participate in optimizing productivity and sustainability of EV battery production through high level of technical knowledge while ensuring stable mass production quality & PD improvement through recipe setting, spec aligning, process capability management, and high-quality defect improvement based on a technical understanding of the process and equipment.Responsibilities:
Analyze productivity, yield and overall equipment efficiency (OEE) of assigned process and department Work with engineers and operators to troubleshoot machines to ensure highest yield and OEE Analyze Quality issues to provide corrective actions Improve production processes by creating various SOPs and train operators to ensure understanding and correct implementation to floor Compliance with health/safety/environmental/ fire regulations Spec. optimization and process conditions establishmentPFD:
process flow diagram,PFMEA:
process failure mode and effects analysis,CP:
control plan Chronic defect improvement activities Production/development model dissemination and 4M change verification Conducting internal and customer audits Non-conformance report handling and improvement Response to internal/external quality issues for the customer Establishment and revision of PFD, PF Manual Maintain cleanliness at worksite in accordance with 5S3R Standards:

Bachelor's degree in engineering required, MS preferred, or equivalent, relevant experienceExperience:
1+ years of experience in production technology related job or equivalent, relevant experience Internship or co-op experience in manufacturing or industrial environment will be considered in lieu of full-time experienceWork Authorization:
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.Skills:
Six Sigma knowledge MS Office Suite Written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail Organizational and multitasking skillPhysical Requirements:
Must be able to properly and regularly utilize the following PPE for a period of up to 12 hours: Safety glasses Steel-toed shoes Nitrile gloves Ear protection Cleanroom suit Must be able to perform the following activities repeatedly for periods of up to 12 hours: Lift, push, and pull materials or equipment Stoop, twist, and bend Reach overhead Sit and/or stand for extended periods Use hands and fingers to operate tools, equipment, and computer systemsWork Environment:
Work may involve handling or working in proximity to hazardous materials and regulated industrial chemicals. Exposure to chemical vapors, dust, or other controlled substances may occur depending on process assignment. Strict adherence to company safety policies and OSHA Hazard Communication requirements is mandatory. Employees must properly wear and maintain assigned personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times within designated areas. Required PPE may include respirators, chemical-resistant garments, gloves, eye protection, face shields, or other equipment determined by process and risk assessment.
