Daily Responsibilities Provide technical leadership and support for injection molding operations, driving improvements in scrap reduction, cycle times, and setup efficiency Establish and maintain robust process windows using scientific molding techniques and DOE methodologies Conduct process validation, capability analysis, and root cause investigations to improve product quality and process stability Optimize manufacturing workflows, equipment layout, and space utilization for maximum efficiency Lead and coordinate cGMP-compliant manufacturing improvements and technical activities Develop and maintain process documentation, including work instructions, setup procedures, and technical specifications Design and specify new manufacturing equipment and processes Identify equipment issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions Collaborate with cross-functional teams on continuous improvement, product design, and process enhancements Support the development of PFMEA, control plans, and corrective/preventive action plans Partner with production and engineering teams to ensure efficient and cost-effective manufacturing methods Communicate with customers regarding product specifications, design changes, and technical solutions Apply statistical analysis to forecast and improve manufacturing performance Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering 8+ years of hands-on experience in injection molding manufacturing environments Strong expertise in troubleshooting molding processes and resolving production defects In-depth knowledge of injection molding presses (hydraulic and electric), molds, and auxiliary equipment (dryers, blenders, loaders, hot runners, sprue pickers) Experience developing and improving manufacturing processes within budget and timeline constraints Familiarity with common thermoplastics such as Polypropylene, Polycarbonate, ABS, and Nylon Strong understanding of process optimization, validation, and continuous improvement methodologies Preferred Qualifications RJG Master Molder Certification or equivalent Experience with EOAT (End of Arm Tooling) and six-axis robot programming Background in advanced automation and integrated manufacturing systems Apply Now!
