Process Engineer Indianapolis, IN, United States | req28043 What you will enjoy doing• In this role, you will manage Engineering Technician(s) in the support cell You will ensure successful completion of assigned project phases within the budgeted time and cost constraints Further, you will assist in the design and modification tooling / fixturing for new product introduction and improvement of existing processes You will prepare appropriate documentation, reports, and summaries to communicate project progress or results What makes you great Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, materials, or chemical engineering and more than four (4+) years of related experience, in thermal barrier coating operations or processes / equipment typically used in a coatings-manufacturing environment or more than twelve (12+) years of related experience, equivalent combination education and experience will be considered Robotic (ABB and Fanuc) troubleshooting and programming experience desired but not required You must be a self-starter able to manage projects with minimal supervision In addition you must have personal computer proficiency, business administration know-how, and a working knowledge of quality control systems You must be capable of positively influencing those that do not report to this position in an effort to achieve the organization's goals LEAN / Six Sigma green belt or black belt preferred Why you will love working with us Linde Advanced Material Technologies, formerly Praxair Surface Technologies, is a company that revolutionizes industries through innovative materials and surface coatings.
