$120,000-$130,000 About the Opportunit yOur client, a leading organization, is seeking a Senior Process Enginee r to support operations at their crush facility in Goodland, KS. Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, this role will focus on process optimization, capital project execution, operational performance, and continuous improvement initiatives This position is well suited for an engineering professional with experience i n processing environmen ts who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing setting and enjoys driving measurable operational improvement s. Key Responsibilit iesIdentify opportunities for process improvements and lead implementation efforts to improve plant performan ce.

Conduct operational assessments focused on energy efficiency, chemical optimization, product yield improvement, reliability, and cost reducti on.

Evaluate existing plant processes and recommend solutions that increase efficiency and support long-term operational goa ls.

Partner with operations, maintenance, controls, and quality teams to develop and execute process improvement initiativ es.

Lead assigned capital projects from concept through startup and successful implementati on.

Ensure all engineering modifications and projects align with safety and environmental standar ds.

Support day-to-day plant operations by monitoring costs, production yields, quality metrics, and process performan ce.

Troubleshoot process-related issues and implement sustainable solutions to improve operational effectivene ss. Qualificat ionsBachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or a related field (equivalent experience consider ed).3+ years of engineering experience within processing, food manufacturing, or a similar manufacturing environm ent.

Strong understanding of process optimization and continuous improvement methodolog ies.

Proven project management and problem-solving capabilit ies.

Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and operational excelle nce.
