With 35 locations across the US and Canada, we specialize in providing eco-friendly, high-performance battery solutions for all hybrid and EV models. Our mission is to ensure that your vehicle runs smoothly, efficiently, and sustainably, contributing to a greener future Greentec Auto is looking for a Process Engineer to help improve and grow our battery testing, refurbishing, dismantiling, and building. Candidates would be required to work in Kansas City full time. The role includes designing harnesses to test batteries, designing and manufacturing new components to retrofit existing batteries, and improving existing processes. Candidates with battery related experience will have an advantage over others.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

Problem Solving and Troubleshooting:

Identify and resolve issues in existing processes, ensuring optimal performance.

Process Design and Optimization:

Design, develop, configure, and document assembling processes.

Data Analysis and Interpretation:

Assess, measure, and interpret data from various sources to identify areas for improvement.

Process Improvement:

Develop and implement solutions to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality.

Documentation and Standard Operating Procedures:

Develop and maintain process documentation and standard operating procedures.

Safety Compliance:

Ensure processes adhere to relevant safety regulations and industry standards.

Collaboration:

Work with cross-functional teams, including production managers, engineers, and other staff, to facilitate production processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills: Ability to identify and resolve complex issues.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills:

Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams. Knowledge of engineering principles and practices: Understanding of process flow, equipment, and safety regulations. Proficiency in relevant software and tools: Experience with CAD, process simulation software, and data analysis tools. Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field: A bachelor's degree in engineering. 6+ years of experience required Compensation based on experience and productivity starting at $70 to $100k
