$42.31/hourWe are seeking an experienced Engineering Specialist to support gear lab development and manufacturing process engineering in a high-performance environment. This role focuses on gear machining, process improvement, and quality optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

Support manufacturing process development and continuous improvement initiativesApply engineering principles to improve safety, quality, and productivityLead root cause analysis and corrective actions (8D, 5 Why, DMAIC)Conduct process audits and ensure adherence to drivetrain standardsDevelop process documentation and work instructionsSupport gear machining processes including milling, hobbing, grinding, and lappingAnalyze heat treatment, distortion, and material performanceValidate CMM inspection setups and measurement systemsPerform data analysis and reporting to support development activities

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferred)5+ years of experience in manufacturing or gear developmentExperience with hypoid bevel gear processes or data analyticsStrong knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality systemsProficiency in Excel and data analysis toolsStrong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills

Preferred:
