Job Description

The Designand ReleaseSenior Engineer is responsible formanaging the entire life cycle of their respective components and sub-assemblies including defining requirements, conceptual design, supplier sourcing, manufacturing, validation and industrialization. He/she willbe the technical team lead within aTransmission, Drivelineor EDM GearReducersOrganization Council of Excellence (COE)department for key components, subsystems and systems within their technical domain.
Basic Qualifications:
A minimum of a Bachelors degree in MechanicalEngineeringor related degree fieldA minimum of 5years of experience inpropulsion systems, automatictransmissions, drivelinesystemsorrelated fieldA minimum of 5 years of design and release in related COE componentsExperience and knowledgeofautomatic transmissions, driveline systemsor electric driveunitsoperation and function.

Previous experience as a DRE in OEM and tier 1 suppliers to OEMsProficiency in GD&T, creating drawings of components and virtual analysisStrong interpersonal communicationandteamleadershipskillsand comfortable with presenting to executive leadership teamsAbility to travel globally to suppliers as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
