Job Description

Injection Molding Process TechnicianPosition OverviewThe Injection Molding Process Technician will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining injection molding machines to produce high-quality plastic components. This role involves troubleshooting production issues, optimizing processes, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.•We have roles for 2nd Shift (3:45 PM - Midnight) and 3rd Shift (Midnight - 8 AM)Key ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot molding processes to ensure optimal cycle times, part quality, and machine performance.

Perform minor maintenance tasks such as replacing nozzles, nozzle heater bands, and addressing basic hydraulic and electrical issues.

Monitor and adjust process parameters to maintain consistent product quality and reduce downtime.

Collaborate with production teams to resolve technical issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Demonstrate strong processing knowledge and provide leadership on the floor to guide operators and support team efficiencyQualificationsProven ability to set up and troubleshoot injection molding machines, including adjusting process parameters and resolving quality issuesHands-on experience performing minor maintenance tasks such as changing nozzles, heater bands, and addressing basic hydraulic and electrical faultsSkilled in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and mold schematics to support accurate machine setup and diagnosticsFamiliarity with safety and quality standards in production environments, including ISO or GMP protocolsStrong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and leadership capabilities to guide operators and support efficient productionBenefitsCompensation range; $70k-85k401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insurance
