OVERVIEW A
leading manufacturing organization is seeking a Process Engineer to join a fast-paced, high-volume production environment. This role is ideal for an engineer who thrives on the plant floor and enjoys driving continuous improvement through hands-on process optimization .
AS THE PROCESS ENGINEER YOU
WILL.. Serve as a hands-on, floor-focused engineer supporting daily manufacturing operations Identify process inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and loss points; develop and implement solutions Lead and coordinate trials, including cost analysis, risk assessment, and performance validation. Analyze production, quality, and raw material data to drive continuous improvement initiatives Partner closely with operations, maintenance, reliability, and quality teams to improve plant performance Support troubleshooting efforts using data analysis, testing, and root cause investigation Monitor process control metrics and optimize equipment performance and output Present findings and recommendations to both plant leadership and operational teams
AS THE PROCESS ENGINEER YOU SHOULD
HAVE.. Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering preferred (Mechanical, Pulp & Paper, or related considered) Minimum 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or process environment Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret large data sets Proven ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with all levels of an organization Experience in paper, packaging, or chemical manufacturing is a plus Prior exposure to process optimization, trials, and plant troubleshooting strongly preferred
