Specialist role supporting the development of processes and solutions for conformal coating and protection of customer products. Perform tasks within the process engineering team ranging from hands-on masking and demasking, setting up coating chambers, as well as creating documentation for processes. This role requires attention to detail, strong teamwork, and the ability to perform hands-on technical work in a production environment.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Execute daily process tasks in support of Process Engineering and Production operations. Perform hands-on activities (masking, demasking, coating chamber setup) as necessary to support process trials, testing, or development Qualify new materials by developing, testing, and implementing process improvements. Develop, maintain, and update standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and technical documentation to support production and quality standards Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, quality) to support product launches and process transfers Maintain clear communication with production staff and train operators on new programs or process updates Observe safe handling practices for handling electronic assemblies (ESD protection protocols, PPE adherence)• Maintain a clean, organized, and workable space in accordance with company safety and quality standards Demonstrate flexibility by performing non-routine tasks, engineering trials, and development activities as needed Required Education and/orExperience:
Associates degree or Bachelor's degree in related technical field preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience with demonstrated technical analysis responsibilities Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures Ability to effectively communicate (written and verbal) Basic knowledge of MS Office programs Willing to learn and take on new responsibilities Able to work with minimal supervision This position requires access to export-controlled information subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
