Control System Engineer Flux Resources, LLC United States, York, York 17 Battery Pl Ste 1328 (Show on map) Jun 04, 2026 Senior Control Systems Engineer We are seeking a Senior Control Systems Engineer to lead the design, development, and commissioning of SCADA, BMS, and EPMS systems for large-scale industrial and mission-critical facilities. This role is responsible for overseeing the design, deployment, and commissioning of building management and power monitoring systems across multiple project locations. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership for complex controls projects, including the development of system architectures, sequences of operation (SOOs), P&IDs, HMI requirements, and detailed control system designs. This individual will support projects from conceptual design through construction and commissioning while helping establish engineering standards and best practices. Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of control systems supporting chilled water plants, HVAC systems, power monitoring, and environmental monitoring systems.
  • Develop control system architectures, functional specifications, and detailed engineering designs.
  • Create and maintain sequences of operation, P&IDs, sensor installation details, specifications, and design templates.
  • Program and configure PLCs, SCADA platforms, and HMIs.
  • Support control system simulations, factory acceptance testing (FAT), construction activities, and commissioning efforts.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to engineering and project teams. Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 10+ years of experience in industrial or mission-critical control systems engineering.
  • Extensive experience with PLCs, DCSs, SCADA systems, and industrial communication networks.
  • Strong knowledge of control system programming languages, including ladder logic and function block programming.
  • Hands-on experience with major automation platforms such as Rockwell, Siemens, Ignition, or similar systems.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and project coordination skills.
  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively to project sites (50-70%). Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
  • Experience managing large-scale controls projects from design through commissioning.
  • Experience with Revit or other 3D modeling software.
  • Familiarity with applicable industry codes, standards, and best practices.
  • Experience supporting mission-critical facilities, industrial infrastructure, or large-scale automation environments. Compensation
  • Base salary range: $200,000-$250,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
  • Additional compensation opportunities may be available.
