You will operate, maintain, and optimize vacuum deposition equipment, develop and document robust thin-film processes, analyze film quality and metrology data, and support pilot-to-full-scale manufacturing transitions. This role would suit a hands-on, detail-oriented engineer looking to take ownership of vacuum deposition processes, work on breakthrough solar technology, and contribute to real-world renewable energy solutions.

The Role:

Support development and scale-up of perovskite solar modules using high-speed roll-to-roll sputtering systems Develop, optimize, and document thin-film deposition processes on polymer substrates Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot vacuum coating equipment, ensuring uptime and reliability Collaborate cross-functionally to transition processes from pilot to full-scale manufacturing

The Candidate:

Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field Strong understanding of thin-film physics, plasma processes, and vacuum technology Experience with FMEA, high-volume manufacturing, or roll-to-roll thin film manufacturing preferred
