Job Description

Generate, maintain, and improve work instructions that manufacture tools and products conforming to Engineering drawings and configuration controls Develop, maintain, and improve manufacturing processes Develop and maintain Manufacturing Bills of Materials (MBOM's) and OBOM's, with associated interpretation of EBOM's as required Support shop floor activities by providing technical guidance and clarification of work instructions, overseeing build processes, troubleshooting floor and equipment issues, and providing general training of newly developed processes Working knowledge of GD&T with an ability to read and interpret Engineering drawings Team lead and team player - the candidate must be able to work in a multi-functional role that interfaces with different departments, functions, and customers Supports bids and proposals for potential new and incoming work. Supports ROI's for process improvement ideas and cost reduction initiatives Generates purchase requisitions Supports design reviews Generates and maintains cure cycle recipes; has a working knowledge of ovens and autoclaves Additional responsibilities as required by Engineering Management Bachelor's degree in a STEM field with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, or equivalent. Or a Master's degree in a STEM field with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, or equivalent. Experience developing digital work instruction for complete processes or assemblies Manufacturing/Process Engineering experience Experience in MS Office software applications Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) Strong commitment and proven capability to work on multiple programs of varying size and scope at any given time, organize workload, achieve deliverables, execute critical tasks by defined need by dates, and manages time effectively Strong interpersonal communication and technical writing skills to enable effective personal interaction and collaboration with a multi-disciplined team and customers Technical leader with experience in composite fabrication and assembly work. Proven experience in process development and the creation of process architecture. High attention to detail Proven ability to collaborate effectively across functionally, prioritizing program success over individual recognition. Strong ability and willingness to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience working with SAP and PLM systems Demonstrates humility and intellectual curiosity, through openness to feedback and continuous improvement Maintains a continuous learning mindset and actively seeks opportunities for personal and team development.
