Job Description
Summary:
Aquatech is a global leader in water purification systems technology for both industrial and infrastructure markets located in the United States and internationally. We support our clients with sustainable water purification systems and technologies that are solving the worlds water scarcity challenges. Aquatech has an immediate need for a fulltime Chemical Engineering Intern to work in our Canonsburg, PA office this summer to support Engineering group. The hours are Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm. The Intern will perform the duties described in the job description below and will be considered a Non Exempt employee. Minimum Qualifications /Experience:
Must have completed at least two years of undergraduate courses in Chemical, or Environmental Engineering. Familiarity with water purification processes e.g. Membrane separation, Chemical Softening etc. desirableJob Description:
Get on-the-job training while supporting an experienced Applications Engineer in performing water treatment proposal preparation, reviewing Request for Proposal (RFP), performing process calculations involving heat and mass balance, sizing of water treatment processes and equipment, helping review Process Flow diagram (PFD), Piping & Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID) and equipment layout drawings. Follow up for vendor quotations for major equipment and commodity items.Skill Requirements:

Aquatech Internships are in the office five days per week, 40 hours per week. The internship program is temporary employment that lasts for a maximum duration of ninety (90) days. Successful completion of this internship will provide you with invaluable skills in the water treatment industry and make a compelling addition to your professional journey.Essential Functions:
