40.0 Overview Drive process improvement and operational excellence in fiberglass and composite manufacturing through data analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and standardized process development. Responsibilities Improve manufacturing processes to enhance safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance in fiberglass and composite manufacturing. Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, EHS, and Engineering teams to identify process improvements and troubleshoot issues. Develop, implement, and maintain process standards, work instructions, and operating procedures. Lead continuous improvement initiatives and participate in capital projects and process validation activities. Analyze manufacturing data, conduct process capability studies, and establish process controls. Support new product development, material trials, and product innovation efforts. Prepare technical reports, process documentation, and partner with cross-functional teams to support operational excellence. Assist in troubleshooting customer quality concerns and implement corrective actions. Support equipment reliability improvements and reduce downtime through collaboration with maintenance teams. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field. 3+ years of manufacturing or process engineering experience preferred. Experience in continuous manufacturing, composites, fiberglass, polymers, chemicals, or related industrial environments. Skilled in process validation, root cause analysis, and statistical problem-solving techniques. Strong analytical, project management, and organizational skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills across all organizational levels. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and manufacturing systems. Knowledge of fiberglass, composite materials, resin systems, and manufacturing processes is highly desirable.
