Our work aims to shift paradigms in extractive metallurgy. We are excitedly seeking a candidate to join our team who is looking to make real-world impact with their aligned skill set and background.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will utilize chemical engineering processes and unit operation knowledge to be part of developing and scaling up lab-bench scale process to a field pilot unit. To do so, laboratory analytical techniques; basic chemical engineering processes (e.g. adsorption; ion exchange; chemical separation); chemical synthesis (e.g. surface coating) will be required as well. Responsibilities will include Chemical Engineering design, process modeling, technology development, and testing of unit operations (in lab and field). Other important position requirements include sample preparation, data collection, data interpretation, and quantitative report writing. The ability to model hydrometallurgical processes and ion exchange systems is part of the work for this position. You will be expected to thrive in a team-like setting, carry out existing experimental and analytical protocols, develop and document new experimental protocols (if necessary), maintain detailed notes on all work, assist in drafting manuscripts for publication, and assist in preparing presentations and proposals (when necessary).
