We help the world's largest manufacturers in metals, aerospace, automotive, semiconductors and other industries transform the economics, reliability and predictability of their gas supply chain while delivering tremendous environmental benefits. We own and operate industrial gas recovery systems and our proprietary Monitoring, Analytics and Recovery Service (MARS) to reduce gas supply costs, increase predictability, and provide unprecedented insight into manufacturing operations. Arencibia's operating and maintenance function is in the Lehigh Valley, PA area with additional executive and engineering offices in Denver, CO. As a Quality Control Engineer, you will be part of the process engineering and R D group. You will be involved in taking responsibilities for effective operation of various process equipment including but not limited to: gas analyzers, flow meters, pressure sensors, control valves and pumps. Additionally, you will be actively involved in customer gas analysis and installation of test equipment. You will be involved in building test equipment and be part of the R D efforts in the company. Salary offered will be based on previous experience.
Responsibilities include:
Hands-on troubleshooting, calibration, and maintenance of gas analyzers, flow meters, pressure sensors, control valves, pumps, and related process equipment. Assist with validation of test modules, sample systems, and process instrumentation for R D and industrial applications. Read and interpret P&IDs, process flow diagrams, instrumentation layouts, and technical documentation. Perform process calculations related to gas analysis, flow, temperature and pressure. Assist in preparing training documents to expand the core knowledge and capabilities to other departments in the organization Support development and improvement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), testing protocols, and operational documentation for existing and new equipment. Lift and/or move up to 40 pounds Take ownership and work in a collaborative, cross-functional and demanding environment. Learn about gas analyzers, flow meters and other process equipment and instrumentation. Summarize and explain data concisely and effectively. Travel for site support, troubleshooting, and field testing activities, 15% - 20% Ideal Candidates will have: B.S./M.S.
in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or related field with interest in industrial process systems and instrumentation. 0-3 years of experience in process engineering, industrial analyzers, laboratory systems, instrumentation, or manufacturing/industrial operations. Experience in cryogenic industry is a plus. Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to work in hands-on industrial and R D environments. Benefits:
