Responsibilities include verifying that Technical Data Package (TDP) shelf-life materials are correctly called out in Manufacturing Data Packages (MDPs) and writing material processing procedures. In addition, Process Engineers lead/collaborate on integrating process equipment within their factories and documenting the equipment's functionality. In summary, as a Process Engineer, you'll work to improve processes to maintain efficiency, reduce costs, improve sustainability and safety and maximize profitability. What You Will Do Quickly address production issues related to materials and processes, ensure root causes of issues are understood, and solutions are robust and cost effective. Actively participates in daily production meetings. Be readily available to operators and collaborate effectively with factory personnel. Operations liaison working with Materials & Process Engineering (M&PE) to quickly address supply chain disruptions, problem buys and obsolete materials: Identify impacted end users, determine material requirements, find alternatives (drive testing as needed), ensure new materials will work in existing processes, and use the opportunity to drive to common materials. Improve processes utilizing Lean manufacturing techniques to reduce variability, eliminate constraints, and provide ongoing process sustainment Develop and maintain manufacturing procedures by creating new documentation and updating existing processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve process and materials-related issues. Qualifications You Must Have Bachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering or mathematics (STEM) Experience in manufacturing methodology Experience in project execution The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance The ability to obtain and maintain a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Access (ATF) clearance. •Experience may be obtained through on‑the‑job experience, research, coursework, or projects. The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
