• Injection Molding Charlotte, NC $50,000 per year Plastic Injection Molding | | Photovoltaic Components Job Summary We are seeking a Quality Engineer to join our growing manufacturing operation in Charlotte, NC.

This role supports quality systems, customer requirements, and production quality in a plastic injection molding environment. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing plant. You will support PPAP, customer quality, supplier quality, and continuous improvement activities while working closely with production and engineering teams. Key ResponsibilitiesQuality System Support (ISO 9001) Support the implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) Assist with internal audits, documentation, and corrective actions (CAPA) Maintain quality records and support

compliance Customer Quality Support Serve as a quality contact for customer-related issues Support customer complaints, returns, and corrective actions using 8D and root cause analysis tools Assist with customer audits and quality requirements Support customer approvals and quality documentation requests PPAP / New Product Support Support PPAP submissions and first article inspections Assist in APQP activities for new product launches and engineering changes Help develop control plans, PFMEA, inspection plans, and work instructions Support dimensional studies and capability analysis (Cp/Cpk) Manufacturing Quality Monitor production quality metrics (scrap, rework, PPM, etc.) Support in-process inspections and SPC implementation Help identify and resolve internal quality issues Participate in continuous improvement and Lean initiatives Supplier Quality Support Assist with supplier quality issues and corrective actions Support incoming material inspection processes Help track supplier performance and quality issues Coordinate quality-related shipping and finished goods support QualificationsRequired Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or related field Basic understanding of manufacturing or quality processes Preferred 1-5+ years of experience in quality, manufacturing, or engineering role Experience in plastic injection molding (strong plus) Exposure to PPAP, APQP, PFMEA, control plans, or SPC Experience in manufacturing environment (internships count) Skills Strong problem-solving skills (5-Why, 8D, root cause analysis) Good communication and teamwork skills Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment Basic Excel and Microsoft Office skills Willingness to be hands-on on the shop floor Work Environment Manufacturing plant environment Regular interaction with production, engineering, and suppliers Hands-on role with shop floor presence required
