This will include working directly with customers on their applications using CNT imprint tools and technologies. The Senior Process Engineer will focus on customer application related materials choices, process issues, tool use support, and metrology. The Senior Process Engineer will contribute to the CNT imprinting process-related intellectual property. Essential Functions 1. Develop and optimize processes for imprint lithography 2. Design, execute, analyze, and document experiments 3. Operate wafer inspection systems and metrology tools, and perform routine maintenance on imprint and metrology equipment 4. Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and customers to develop, communicate, and implement defect-reduction and overlay improvement strategies 5. Coordinate and qualify CNT imprint tools and technologies for specific customer applications 6. Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers 7. Contribute to intellectual property development, including patents 8. Willingness and ability to travel up to 10%
Qualifications Education:
M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or another relevant engineering or physical science discipline.
Experience:
At least three years of hands-on experience in semiconductor processing. Experience in advanced lithography, with a strong emphasis on overlay, is highly preferred. Strong research and development experience in emerging areas is a plus (e.g., patents or patent applications). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated strong organizational skills and ability to multitask. Experience with experiment design (DOE) and statistical analysis. Physical Demands/Work Environment Position requires continuous physical effort; intermittent and long-term work cycles; standing, walking, sitting, repetitive motion, and lifting up to 25 pounds unassisted. Lifting more than 25 lbs requires additional help. Employee may be required to work at a computer terminal for long periods of time. Employee will be able to hear and understand speech at normal levels and on the telephone. Position requires effective communication skills, verbal and written form. Mental alertness is a must. Employee may be exposed to atmospheric conditions, such as: dust, fumes, noise and varying temperatures. Employee is required to demonstrate continued knowledge of Haz/Com regulations and requirements. Must be able to work in a cleanroom environment, this includes wearing protective clothing. Domestic and International travel may be required .
